Ik werk momenteel bij Dedicon Educatief als productmanager voor leermaterialen voor blinde en slechtziende leerlingen, studenten en vakbeoefenaren. Op de website Goede kennis vind je actuele informatie.
Mijn specialisaties zijn: tactiele tekeningen, toegankelijkheid en bètavakken (wiskunde e.a.) voor brailleleerlingen en -studenten.
Missie/visie
Wie een visuele beperking heeft, moet
- op hetzelfde moment en tegen dezelfde kosten en inspanning toegang hebben tot informatie als ziende studenten.
- de studie kunnen kiezen waar hij of zij de capaciteiten en motivatie voor heeft.
- niet gedwongen zijn iets te kiezen waar 'toevallig' toegankelijk studiemateriaal voor bestaat.
Iedere leerling heeft het recht om zijn of haar passie en talenten te ontdekken en ontwikkelen!

I currently work as productmanager for learning materials for the visually impaired (all ages; students and adults) at Dedicon Educational.
My specializations are: tactile images, accessibility and STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) for braillestudents.
Mission/vision
Students with a visual impairment
- must have access to the same information as sighted students; at the same time and to the same cost and effort.
- must have access to the study that meets their capacities and motivation.
- should not be compelled to choose a study for which accessible learning materials happen to exist.
Every student has a right to discover and develop his or her passion and talents!
